Me acabo de encontrar con una entrevista q le hizo el otro día Juaquin Luqui (locutor de Los 40 Principales) a Luis Miguel y para el que no la haya escuchado o leído, ahí va: Comienza el locutor: "Pues hasta Cancún que se fue nuestro querido Luqui para sentarse a orillas del mar con el gran Luis Miguel" JL: "Luis Miguel, el mejor artista latino, ha hecho el mejor álbum pop de su historia y además cuando tienes 33 años y lo titulas "33", ¿qué bien, no? LM: Oye, muchas gracias, no sé si será el mejor pero es un disco que estoy contento con él, muy satisfecho y, ojalá y la gente lo disfrute tanto como yo lo disfrute haciéndolo, no? JL: "33, una edad especial, si tuvieras que hacer un recuerdo, un balance, artísticamente número 1 desde que tenías 12 añitos, desde tu primer disco hasta ahora. Humanamente, si tuvieras que hacer un resumen artístico y humano de tus 33 años, ¿qué sería?" LM: "Guauu, esa es muy buena pregunta, porque resumir más de 20 años de carrera no es nada fácil. Han sido tantas las experiencias, tantas las vivencias, que no sabría por donde empezar, sinceramente, podría resumirlo en dedicación, entrega y comunicación con mi público desde hace tantos años. Mira, son tantas las cosas que he vivido que de verdad, en realidad, no son 33 son 99 (y se ríe deliciosamente... mmmm ) porque son como tres vidas las que yo he vivido en esos 33 años" JL: "Y además records, porque no sólo el artista latino que más ha vendido, también sales triple platino en Mexico, doble en España, doble en EEUU, Argentina... ¿te sigue apeteciendo batir esos récords? ¿actuar en estadios grandísimos? ¿te da ese mismo feeling que cuando empezabas o ha cambiado algo?" LM: No, no ha cambiado nada en el sentimiento, en la forma, en la energía, nada de esas cosas han cambiado, al contrario yo siento que con los años disfruto más y aprecio más todo ese tipo de cosas, todo ese tipo de demostraciones del público, de las fans, de la gente, en los estadios, en lo que sea, cualquier demostración de éstas, porque yo siento que cada día que pasa, cada año que pasa es más importante para mí, es algo esencial para un artista, lo valoro más JL: "Se te ve muy bien, se te ve muy feliz, ¿realmente estás feliz?" LM: "Estoy muy feliz, estoy muy tranquilo, muy estable, emocionalmente estoy bien, muy bien, muy tranquilo, muy contento, estos 33 me están sentado muy bien física y emocionalmente" JL: "Sigo pensando en lo del disco en inglés, ya sé que me vas a decir que siempre, pero el tiempo, el tiempo da la razón porque cada vez, ningún cantante americano, ningún cantante inglés desde hace tiempo, los cantantes latinos últimamente tampoco triunfan tanto en inglés. Entonces, yo sigo diciendo el día en que Luis Miguel cante en inglés nadie tendrá ese swing, esa pasión... (mientras dice Luismi: "¡Graba ese disco!" riéndose) habrá millones, literal, millones de personas más de los que te han comprado. Estoy seguro que ese disco... será yo qué sé diez veces platino, diez millones en América(vuelve a reírse Luismi), ... en Inglaterra, pero estoy convencido, necesita ahora la música un cantante, un nuevo ídolo... y creo que puede ser Luis Miguel" LM: "Mira, Joaquín, si la razón por la cual yo no he grabado en inglés, es porque no ha sido el momento para mí, no lo he sentido así. Por otro lado, es un idioma, yo no pienso en inglés, mis sentimientos no son en inglés. Entonces, estoy todavía tratando de ser completamente auténtico en otro idioma, simplemente por el hecho de que no sería real, no sería verdadero, no sería auténtico el cantar en un idioma y tratar de expresar sentimientos que... y eso es algo que poco a poco se está dando, yo creo que cada vez se acerca más a un momento que puede darse, de grabar un disco en inglés, pero tiene que ser con la compañía correcta, con la gente correcta, con las personas que me rodean, todo tiene que ser un cambio importante y no dudo que se de, y quiero que cuando se de se algo realmente es pecial" Y se acabó... radio in Spain, which Isabel heard.JL: Luis Miguel, the best Latin artist, you've made the best pop album in your career and you're also 33 years old and you titled it "33".... JL: And besides, records -- because not only you're the best-selling Latin artist, with triple platinum sales in Mexico, double in Spain and the US and platinum in Argentina...you continue breaking those records? You perform in huge stadiums? Does it give you the same feeling of whem you began or has something changed? LM: No, nothing has changed in that sense, in the way; the energy, none of those things have changed. On the contrary I feel that with the years I'm enjoying it more and I appreciate more these types of things, all the demonstrations of the audience, of the fans, the people, in the stadiums, in wherever, beause I feel that each day that passes, each year that passes is more important for me, it's something essential for an artist, and I value it more. JL: You look very good, you seem very happy, are you really happy? LM: I'm very happy, I'm very calm, very stable, emotionally I'm fine, very well, happy; these 33 years sit well with me physically and emotionally. JL: I keep thinking about a record in English, I know that you're going to tell me the same thing as always, but time will give the reason because each time no American singer, nobody singing English the Latin singers lately haven't triumphed so much in English. So I keep saying the day that Luis Miguel sings in English no-one will have that swing, that passion, there will be literally millions more people who will buy it. I'm sure that this record..I know that it will be 10 times platinium, 10 million in America (LM is laughing during this discussion), in England, but I'm convinced that music now needs a singer, a new idol, and I think it could be Luis Miguel. LM: Look Joaquin, the reason that I haven't recorded in English is because it hasn't been the right moment for me, I haven't felt it. On the other hand...I don't think in English, my feelings are not in English. So if I'm still trying to be completely autenthic in another language, simply for the fact that it wouldn't be real, it wouldn't be true, it wouldn't be authentic to sing in one language and try to express feelings ...and that's something that little by little is happening, I think that each time the moment's getting closer, to record a CD in English, but it has to be with the right company, the right people, the people that surround me; it will be an important change and I don't doubt it, I want to do it when it's something really special. Hier ist ein von Joaquin Luqui geführtes Interview vom Radiosender "40 Principales"in Spanien, daß Isabel mitgehört hat. JL: Luis Miguel, der beste Latino Künstler, du hast das beste Pop Album deiner Karriere gemacht, du bist auch 33 Jahre alt und du hast es "33" genannt. LM: Danke vielmals, Ich weiß nicht ob es das Beste sein wird, aber es ist eine Aufnahme über die ich sehr glücklich bin, sehr zufrieden, und ich hoffe die Leute werden es genauso geniessen wie ich genossen habe es zu machen. JL: 33, ist ein besonderes Alter; wenn du Bilanz ziehen solltest, künstlerisch die Nummer 1 seit du 12 Jahre alt bist, von deiner ersten Platte bis heute... Wenn du eine künstlerische und menschliche Zusammenfassung machen müsstest, wie würde sie aussehen? LM: Wow, das ist ne sehr gute Frage, denn mehr als 20 Karrierejahre zusammenzufassen ist nicht leicht. Da gab es so viele Erfahrungen, so viele Dinge durch die ich durch bin, ich wüsste nicht wo ich anfangen sollte, ehrlich; ich könnte es in der Widmung und Verbindung zu meinen Fans über all die Jahre zusammenfassen. Schau, da gibt es so viele Dinge durch die ich durch musste, wirklich, ich bin nicht 33, sondern 99 (er lacht) denn ich habe in meinen 33 Jahren drei Leben gelebt. JL: und neben den CDs - denn du bist nicht nur der meistverkaufte Latino Künstler, mit 3-fach Platin Verkäufen in Mexiko, 2-fach in Spanien und USA und Platin in Argentinien... du brichst immer noch diese Rekorde. Du trittst in riesigen Stadien auf. Ist es dasselbe Gefühl, als du damals begannst oder hat sich etwas verändert? LM: Nein, in diesem Sinn hat es sich nicht verändert, in dieser Art, diese Energie, nichts davon hat sich verändert. Im Gegenteil ich fühle, dass ich es mit den Jahren mehr und mehr geniesse und ich schätze diese Dinge, all diese Gefühlsbekundungen der Zuhörer, der Fans, der Leute in den Stadien, wo auch immer, denn ich fühle, dass jeder Tag der vorbeigeht, jedes Jahr das vorübergeht, wichtiger für mich wird, es ist etwas Essentielles für einen Künstler, und ich messe dem mehr Wert bei. JL: Du siehst sehr gut aus, du scheinst sehr glücklich, bist du wirklich glücklich? LM: Ich bin sehr glücklich, ich bin sehr ruhig, sehr gefestigt, emotional geht's mir gut, sehr gut, glücklich; diese 33 Jahre stehen mir körperlich gut und auch emotional. JL: Ich denke immer wieder an eine CD in Englisch, ich weiß, dass du mir wieder dasselbe wie sonst sagen wirst, aber die Zeit wird den Grund dafür liefern. Die Latino-Sänger die Englisch singen, haben in letzter Zeit nicht sonderlich Erfolg gehabt. Also sage ich weiterhin voraus, daß der Tag an dem Luis Miguel in Englisch singt, Keiner diesen Swing haben wird, diese Leidenschaft, es wird förmlich Millionen mehr Leute geben, die seine Platten kaufen werden. Ich bin sicher dass so eine CD... Nein, ich weiss, dass sie 10-fach Platin, 10 Millionen in Amerika (LM lacht während dieser Ausführungen), in England erreichen wird, und ich bin überzeugt, daß die Musikbranche jetzt einen neuen Sänger braucht, ein neues Vorbild, und ich denke es könnte Luis Miguel sein. LM: Schau Joaquin, der Grund warum ich nicht in Englisch aufnehme ist, dass es bisher nicht der richtige Moment für mich war, ich habe es nicht gefühlt. Auf der anderen Seite... Ich denke nicht in Englisch, meine Gefühle sind nicht Englisch. Also zumindest solange ich versuche, vollkommen authentisch in einer anderen Sprache zu sein. Also einfach aufgrund der Tatsache dass es nicht echt wäre, es wäre nicht wahrhaftig, es wäre nicht authentisch in einer anderen Sprache zu singen und darin echte Gefühle auszudrücken... und ausserdem ist es etwas, das Stück für Stück passiert, ich denke, dass der Moment, eine CD in Englisch, aufzunehmen, immer näher rückt, aber es muss mit der richtigen Firma sein, den richtigen Leuten, den Leuten die mich umgeben - es wird ein wichtiger Schritt sein und ich zweifle nicht daran, dass ich es tun wollen werde, wenn es wirklich etwas Besonderes ist. Dann sagt der Ansager: "Und das war Joaquin Luqui, sie haben das erste Interview im spanischen Radio mit Luis Miguel gehört, hier auf dem ersten und Nummer 1 Sender, "40 Principales"". Danke Micky.
